Whether you like to call it: Niche , Research or your HOT Product , it s important to work out the fundamentals before jumping in with your big idea that clients may not want. What does niche mean: it originates from French and means A niche market is a focused portion of a targetable market .
Let s break that down even further – say you like dogs, you especially like the Australian Silky Terrier dog, so your niche would be this. The Australian Silky Terrier. You can focus your attention on providing information to your clients on these dogs. What types of information, well that could be: Books, Breeders, Training, Showing your dog, Grooming, Fun stuff, Pictures, Temperament, Colours, History, Clothing etc
Firstly, you need to have an idea of what you want to sell, is it affiliate products, your product or service? What is your hobby or interest? This could make it easier if you have an interest in what you want to sell because you will have some knowledge on the topic. If you don t then you have to want to learn about it. You must have a passion for selling your product or service. Write down what interests you and start doing some research.
Now it s easy to find lots of information about your topic on the internet or in a book or by asking experts. You need to work out if your product or service is what everyone is looking for.
